Yesterday a group of students considering a range of #healthcare#careers enjoyed a second NHS Insight Day with Winchester Hospital. The students attended an NHS 350+ Careers workshop, followed by an amazing panel talk, which consisted of 7 NHS workers including a Health Care Worker who is also a Nursing Apprentice, a Physiotherapist, an Operating Theatre Practitioner, Speech and Language Therapist, Radiographer and 2 Midwives. The students visited the simulation centre where they got to meet 'Victoria' the birthing simulator. They also attended a CPR and Hand Washing workshop. Our students were engaged, asked some great questions and were enthusiastic towards the activities and workshops. Mia Stewart, QMC’s Work Experience Coordinator said “The students were a credit to the College. They found the day really helpful in deciding what route they want to go down within the NHS. All in all, another successful day!” #students#hospital #nhs #experience #QMCWorkExperience ... See MoreSee Less
