Simon studied music at The Guitar Institute, The Academy of Contemporary Music and the London College of Music and is a graduate of The University of London.

Simon has spent many years working as a freelance guitarist and bassist and has performed with many professional function bands, holiday camps and theatrical groups. He has an independent album release to his name and has been featured in some of Europe’s top rock magazines. Simon has composed and recorded music for short films and works as a freelance examiner for the Registry of Guitar Tutors.
