Queen Mary’s College recently held its annual Sports Award, celebrating the individual and team achievements of our student-athletes. Taking place across the college’s sports facilities, the ceremony provided an important opportunity to recognise the grit, results, and sporting character developed by our squads throughout the academic year.

A Day of Competition and Camaraderie

The day began with a high-spirited mini volleyball tournament in the sports hall. This brought together students from every squad, regardless of whether they were new or familiar with the sport. The atmosphere was electric as teams enthusiastically cheered on their peers through a series of increasingly competitive and fun games.

Following the tournament, students made the most of the sunshine for team photographs before returning to the hall for the highly anticipated awards ceremony.

2026 Award Winners

Our coaches took to the stage to present the individual honours for Coaches’ Player, Most Improved, and the prestigious student-voted Players’ Player, alongside our three overall awards which recognise exceptional leadership and collective excellence within the QMC community.

Please note: While we celebrated all our winners on the day, some students are not pictured in the team or individual photographs.
