Central Studio Theatre

Our fully air conditioned theatre has a seated capacity of 135 or 180 standing and is fitted with retractable, but not removable banked seating for 95 with extra chair’s available for additional seating. Tables are also available for concerts and cabaret.

There are two PA systems available for use in the space; a hardwired system consisting of CD player, 16 channel mixing desk and front of house speaker points. This is suitable for most theatrical uses.
For concerts there is a large PA available with a 48 channel mixing desk and up to 4 monitor sends.
Lighting is provided via a 96 channel Titan control system with the lighting grid arranged in three octagons, following the shape of the theatre, with 3 upstage bars.

QM Hall

Shows, celebrations, conferences and much more…
A 350 seated capacity Hall with a Theatre and Music Licence and a full Justice’s Licence. The Hall is recognised as an important community resource with considerable use by local performance and cultural groups presenting all shades of music from classical to world, dance and stage shows, presentations, celebrations, weddings and fairs. The Hall has full stage lighting and sound systems and the services of appropriate technicians are available. Box Office services can be provided in conjunction with Central Studio and there is a licensed Bar.
