The Wessex Group organises a large number of joint events and activity across the 14 Sixth Form Colleges in its partnership. This is to enable member colleges to better serve their students. This includes training for leadership, training for teaching, core networks of principals, vice-principals and other function-based networks, performance related activity, liaison with external parties such as exam boards and a smaller amount of support for curriculum/subject based networks.
From time to time, large scale events are planned, such as conferences, training activities or networking events. In the future, some meetings may be ‘virtual meetings’ facilitated by appropriate technology.
We are seeking a flexible, enthusiastic and organised member of staff. A key aspect to the role is communication of information to many different groups of people, so the ability to keep track of multiple events and due regard for detail are essential. The working environment can be fast-paced requiring a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, a good and appropriate sense of humour and the ability to work flexibly.
