Lockdown Learning

  • 92% attendance at lessons

  • All lessons live and interactive

  • Enrichment lessons still happening

‘It's as if lessons continued as normal.' Those were the words of visiting Ofsted inspectors following a visit in December.

They were impressed with how the College adapted during the first lockdown as QMC refused to lockdown learning!

Attendance at lessons was comparable to previous years, extra enrichment courses continued as well as new ones introduced, and the Student Support services (such as IT, Wellbeing, Work Experience and Careers) continued to provide students with all the help and services they needed to succeed.

With the current lockdown QMC has once again switched to our remote learning methods and continue to lead the way, improving on previous successes and constantly innovating to ensure the experience is as good as it can possibly be for our students, during these challenging times.

Applications are being taken for 2021 entry. Find out how to start studying at Queen Mary’s  Sixth Form College this September.
