The work in this exhibition was produced by the graduating QMC Creative Art Students .
It represents just a fraction of what our students produced across all of our disciplines: Fine Art, Graphic Communication, Art, Craft & Design, Photography and Textiles.
These students haven’t had the normal experience of studying with us; they had one full term at the start of their courses before the pandemic hit in spring 2020. Since then, like all students, they have experienced a mixture of online and socially distanced in-person lessons. Their work has changed because of this, but hasn’t suffered, and that’s a testament to the commitment and resourcefulness of both the students and the art team.
We are so proud of all our students. As always, we have prize winners, students whose work really exemplifies what we have come to expect from them, but year on year those winners are getting harder to pick as the work gets better and better from everyone. We hope this exhibition illustrates that.
Whatever our students go on to do, whether it's foundation courses, degrees, apprenticeships or employment, we know how amazing they are and what they are capable of.
Congratulations to all of our graduating students. We wish you the very best and look forward to watching you develop over the coming years.
