Today marks the start of the festival of light celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, Jains and some Buddhists.
It is a celebration of good over evil.

It is marked by spending more time with family, friends and the community, the giving of gifts and amazing food!

Our Foundation Learning department made these beautiful lanterns to start the celebrations.
They will be on display tomorrow by the library. Please wish a Happy Diwali to one another today, it is as important as any other festival, and we are proud to celebrate it!
