Open Evenings 2012

The 2012 Open Evenings took place on 4th October and 14th November. Hundreds of prospective students and their parents took advantage of the opportunity to attend College and see what is on offer. The visitors to College were welcomed by College Principal, Stephen Sheedy when he held talks in QM Hall. He talked about the numerous opportunities available at QMC to anyone, regardless of their background and ability,who wishes to learn. He then handed over to current students who shared their experiences of the College.  Throughout the events subject tutors and students were on hand to showcase the fantastic facilities and offer advice about particular subjects. One visitor to the College said "I would like to thank all the staff and students for a very interesting and informative evening. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and incredibly informative in regard to all the subjects and subject matter covered in the course. The park and ride service also made getting to the College trouble free."

There has been a significant increase in the number of applications QMC usually receives by this time of the year, demonstrating that young people are clearly impressed by what the College has to offer.
