Queen Mary’s College is a large sixth form college, very pleasantly situated near the centre of Basingstoke in thirty acres of parkland and playing fields. It is a very lively college with excellent facilities including a professional theatre. A new sports centre was opened in November 2002. Work has also just been completed on a new building for Art and IT.

High priority is given to staff development and there is a comprehensive programme of support for newly-appointed teachers.

The College has recently undergone a very successful OFSTED inspection. It caters for students of all abilities whose achievements are impressive and consistently improving, and student numbers are increasing each year.
