Queen Mary’s College is open to everyone who wants to be here
Queen Mary’s College is a large sixth form
college, very pleasantly situated near the centre of Basingstoke
in thirty acres of parkland and playing fields. It
is a very lively college with excellent facilities including a professional
theatre. A new sports centre was opened in November 2002. Work has
also just been completed on a new building for Art and IT.

High priority is given to staff development and there is a comprehensive programme of support for newly-appointed teachers.
The College has recently undergone a very successful OFSTED inspection. It caters for students of all abilities whose achievements are impressive and consistently improving, and student numbers are increasing each year.

We currently have the following job vacancies: Sports Centre Receptionist
You will receive and welcome visitors, answer telephones and process bookings. You will also assist with cash reconciliation and general administrative duties.
This is a full-year post (not term-time only) for approx 17 hours per week over evenings and weekends. The pay rate quoted is the actual annual salary for 17 hours per week.

Lifeguard/Sports Assistant
We would like to recruit NPLQ qualified Lifeguards to assist with the supervision of our swimming pool and help with general duties around the Sports Centre.
This work is offered on a casual call-in basis and hours will vary according to operational needs.
