By Road

From the North Leave the M1 motorway at Junction 16 and head for Oxford via the A5 and A43. From the Oxford By-pass take the A34 to Newbury, then the A339 to Basingstoke.

From the East By the M4, leave the motorway at Junction 11, follow the A33 to Basingstoke. By the M3, leave at Junction 6.

From the South East Head for Petersfield via the A272 and then to Alton on the B3006. The A339 runs from Alton to Basingstoke.

From the South West Take the A303 and then the A30 - which leads directly to Basingstoke - or follow the M3, leaving at Junction 6.
 

By Rail

Trains run at frequent intervals to Basingstoke from London (Waterloo). In addition there are direct services from Reading, Salisbury and the South West, and Southampton, Bournemouth and Weymouth. The College is approximately 20 minutes walk from Basingstoke Station, and taxis are available at the rank on the south side of the station.

By Foot

From the Railway Station walk across the pedstrian crossing and into Festival Place shopping centre. Walk straight through the shopping centre toward the top of town. Walk through the alleyway to the right of McDonalds and cross the street at the traffic lights. Follow the footpath past Jaguar & Kwik Fit.

Cross Southern Road and turn slight left to continue following the footpath also crossing Beaconsfield Road. Bear left along the footpath entering Cliddesden Road. Turn right and walk along the road. Shortly after passing underneath the subway you will find Queen Mary's College on your right.

 

 

By Cycle

QMC is committed to promoting cycling and welcomes access to the site by bicycle. We have ample dedicated cycle parking spaces, the majority of which are sheltered.There are showers and changing facilities in the Sports Centre adjacent to the main cycle parking area.
