Art and Design – BTEC First Diploma
| This one year level 2 course will give you a broad experience of many aspects of Art, Craft and Design. It is a six module course. The course includes drawing, painting, textiles, ceramics, sculpture, graphic design, and digital imagery, and you will also look at the work of other artists and designers. You will be assessed mainly on the practical work you collect in your portfolio, but there will also be written elements throughout the year. It will be helpful if you already have some experience of Art, Design or Craft, but interest in, and enthusiasm for, these subjects is more important. |
