Music Technology – BTEC National Award
| The BTEC National Award in Music Technology is a practical and academic music course that requires a 2 year commitment from students. It is predominantly a music course for the skilled musician who is keen to develop their understanding of technology. The Music Technology Award gives you the opportunity to study 3 or 4 other courses alongside. You will study a broad range of music skills and techniques using industry standard equipment. Students will complete 6 units of work including: Operating Live Sound, Sound Recording Techniques, Listening Skills for Musicians, Computer Music Systems, Planning a Music Record and Creating a Music Product. At the end of the course you will take part in a major group production which will be studio based and will involve all the skills you have learnt. |
