Fast Track AS and A Level Options available: Italian, Russian and Spanish
| If you enjoyed foreign languages at secondary school but were unable to study the particular language you wanted, or if you wish to take up an entirely new language to A Level, then you can opt for a ‘Fast Track’ AS/A Level course. During the first year of these courses you will progress rapidly through the basics of the language, sitting the AS at the end of the year. In the second year the range of activities and areas of study will mirror those described above for the post-GCSE AS and A2 courses. In order to achieve this you will have 7 hours of taught lessons per week in the first year. |
